We’ve had an exciting few weeks filled with fun, teamwork, and community spirit!
September 19th – Parents vs. Kids Night
We kicked off our first Parents vs. Kids night of the season—and what a night it was! Seeing all the kids challenge their parents on the field brought plenty of smiles and laughter. If you missed out, don’t worry—our next one is coming up October 15th! Bring the whole family (and maybe a few friends) for another evening of fun, friendly competition, and soccer excitement.
October 3rd – U12 vs. Mambas FC
Our U12 group had the chance to take on Mambas FC. While we didn’t snag the win this time, it was amazing to watch our boys and girls come together, play as a team, and stay positive no matter the score.
Their growth, teamwork, and determination keep getting stronger with every game. We can’t wait to see what they’ll accomplish next time—maybe a tie or even a win!
October 8th – Team Day at Pizza Factory
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our Pizza Factory fundraiser! Between enjoying good food, team bonding, and family fun, we were able to raise $400 for our season. Way to go, Republic family!
Upcoming: October 25th – Yard Sale Fundraiser
Our next fundraiser will be a Team Yard Sale on October 25th. If you have any items you’re willing to donate, please bring them the morning of the event around 7:00 AM. Anything not sold can either be returned to you or donated to a local center.
We’re also looking for volunteers to help run the sale—parents, players, and siblings are all welcome! We’ll need help setting up, managing tables, holding signs, and showing off that Republic spirit (wear your gear!).
Looking Ahead: Bowling Night – November 5th
We’re planning a fun Bowling Night for the team on November 5th! There’s a Google Form going around with a simple YES or NO checkbox—please find your child’s name and mark whether they’ll be attending. This helps us plan ahead and make sure we have enough lanes reserved for everyone.
